Troubleshooting Guide

Most of the time if you have arrived at a troubleshooting guide
you are already having problem. 
While this guide will help in those instances,
it is also here to help you expand your skills and abilities,
or make contact with others experiencing similar problems.
Remember, we ALL need some help from time to time.

Reading Comprehension

Seeing the Board or Websites

3.1)  I have problems seeing in the classroom and want to know more.

                not only  for the blind

                available for the visually impaired to be used in the classroom

3.2)  The software (programs) on my computer do not help me see better.

                Here are some options for text reader programs to download:

                         Read Please - free text reader with options for adjusting speed
                         and font size

                         Help Read for Windows - software from the University of    
                         Toronto, includes audio and video players for Windows & Macs

                         vOICe Sonification Browser (for PCs) - if you have a PC
                         camera this program helps convert images & colors into
                         SOUNDS

3.4)  I want to speak with other students having similar difficulties, where can I go?

                Sparktop.org - this site allows you to communicate with other
                learners, check out their online games

                            Zigawhat - Interactive site for young people to connect and have fun
